Once Upon A Time: Red’s Untold Tale

I know, I know, we’re already a 1/4 of the way into the new year and I’m only just making my first post – shame on me! But I am happy to be getting into the swing of it again! πŸ™‚

So today I’m going to be reviewing Red’s Untold Story by Wendy Toliver.

I recently started watching the TV series Once Upon A Time (OUAT), which takes place in Storybrooke, Maine USA and explores the lives of various fairytale characters as they are cursed to live in the modern world. After binge watching 5 series, I was hooked *wink, wink*. Unfortunately now I have the antagonising wait for series 6 to come out on DVD. So to fill the void left in my free time, I wondered if anyone had written books to go with the series, and after a quick search I came across Red’s Untold Tale. As Red (aka Little Red Riding Hood) is one of my favourite characters, I thought this was prefect and couldn’t wait to read it!

The Infernal Devices – Series review

The Infernal Devices takes place in the shadowhunter world created by author Cassandra Clare and is a prequel to The Mortal Instruments series, featuring some of the Mortal Instruments characters ancestors. The world itself is centred around downworlders (warewolfs, vampires, warlocks and demons) and nelphilim (the part angel, part human offspring) as each group struggles for power, acceptance and survival.

Harry Potter: Cursed Child released tomorrow! – where to get it!

If you’re a Harry Potter fan (and let’s face it, who isn’t?) then you’re probably keenly awaiting the release of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. If you’re not a fan, well this post might still interest you if your looking for places to AVOID tomorrow.

A lot of people would probably have pre-ordered Cursed Child. But if you haven’t, don’t worry as it’s going to be available everywhere, and I mean EVERYWHERE.

Book Box review!
